Dr Ueli Schärli, Dr sc. Nat. ETHZ, specialist in geology, geophysics and geothermal energy
Dr. U. Schärli Geology+Geophysics was founded in 2000 by Dr. Ueli Schärli, who completed his training in geology and geophysics at the ETH Zurich. He successfully completed his dissertation in geothermics in 1989. The company is mainly involved in the design and monitoring of geothermal plants and hydrogeological investigations. In addition, it carries out subsoil investigations.
In its laboratory, it can measure the thermal properties of rock and conduct geotechnical investigations of unconsolidated rock. The company is also regularly involved
in geothermal research projects. Dr U. Schärli holds a patent for Nimo-T, a probe for wireless temperature measurement.
